Mario Gianluigi Puzo (15. Oktober 1920 – 2. Juli 1999) war ein US-amerikanischer Autor und Drehbuchautor, bekannt für seine Romane über die Mafia, darunter „Der Pate“ (1969), den er später gemeinsam mit Francis Ford Coppola verfilmte.
