Biografie

Sergio Donati (* 13. April 1933) ist ein italienischer Drehbuchautor. Seit 1952 hat er Drehbücher für über 70 Filme geschrieben. Er wurde in Rom geboren. Er begann seine Karriere als Schriftsteller und einige seiner Bücher wurden für Verfilmungen optioniert. Bekannt ist er vor allem für seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem italienischen Regisseur Sergio Leone, der ihn ermutigte, das Drehbuchschreiben hauptberuflich zu betreiben, sowie mit dem italienischen Produzenten Dino De Laurentiis.
