Életrajz

Karl Urban-t leginkább, mint Eomer ismerjük Peter Jackson A Gyűrűk Ura-trilógiából (The Lord of the Rings), vagy Dr. Leonard „Bones” McCoyként a J.J. Abrams Star Trek film franchiseból. Ő jászotta továbbá a névadó karakterét is a „Dredd” (Dredd) című filmnek, amely igen hamar kultikussá vált. Urban legközelebb Peter Hewitt közelgő családi kalandfilmjében, a „The Wonder”-ben lesz látható Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen az Éhezők Viadala sorozatból) oldalán. Egyéb filmjei kreditjei: „A pap - Háború a vámpírok ellen” (Priest), „És hamarosan a sötétség” (And Soon the Darkness), RED (RED), „Black Water Transit” és „Out of the Blue”. A TV-s oldalon Urban feltűnt a „Komancsok holdja” (Comanche Moon) minisorozatban és J.J. Abrams „Emberi tényező” (Almost Human) Fox sorozatában.
